Statment of Faith

To help others understand our perspective and purposes, we offer the following Statement of Faith.
We believe:

1) The Scriptures are the divinely inspired Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16)

2) In the Godhead: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19-20, Eph. 4:4-6, Deut. 6:14)

3) In the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death and resurrection, His ascension and personal return. (John 1:15, Matt.1:23, Heb. 4:15, I Cor. 15:3-6, Acts 1:9-11)

4) In the Holy Spirit who, by His indwelling, empowers the believer to live a holy life; to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts1:8, John 16:5-15, John14:15-18)

5) In the salvation of the lost and sinful man through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and the regeneration by the Holy Spirit, given by God’s grace through faith, not by works, lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8-9, Eph. 1:7, Titus 3:5)

6) Anybody who is convicted of his own sinfulness and believes that Christ’s death and resurrection were done on his behalf has his guilt removed and is set free from slavery to his sinful nature, and is free to live according to the Spirit. (John 3:16-18, Romans 8:1-4)

7) In the unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the church, the Body of Christ. (Eph.4:4-6)

8) In the resurrection of the dead, of both the believers and non-believers: believers to eternal life and non-believers to eternal torment. (Rev. 20:10-15, John 5:24-29)
